Hardware:
This high speed multidrop card can be added to any PC/104 CPU module. It is configurable to RS–422/485. The RS–485 enable/disable is automatic. The 16C850 supports data rates 460.8 Kbaud and a large 128–byte buffer to reduce CPU overhad and buffer overruns. Low-cost, single channel provides high performance.
