Hardware:
The 5066 brings increased processing performance to the Micro PC platform.

It integrates serial, parallel, disk, digital and networking I/O with a low cost–per–function. The 5066 operates stand–alone with a 5V power supply, with PC/104 expansion cards, or an ISA Bus backplane. It is a compact 4.5 in. x 4.9 in.

Operating System:
Standard PC architecture supported by compatible operating systems. SBC comes pre-loaded with Datalight ROMDOS. The industrial I/O is supported with INT 17 calls. Documentation includes example programs.

Expandable:
The 5066 offers 16C550–compatible serial ports, an enhanced bidirectional parallel port, keyboard controller, RTC and opto-isolated interrupts.

Rugged:
A true industrial card, the 5066 provides enough computing power for virtually any embedded application, while operating in extreme temperatures (–40° to 70° C operating range) and under heavy shock (20g) and vibration (5g). –300 to 30,000 ft. altitude tolerance.

The advanced power management functions can reduce power consumption by more than 80% (reducing heat and extending battery life).

Reliable:
Opto–isolated inputs and increased hardware protection add an extra level of reliability, making the 5066 the ideal PC for industrial environments.
