The 5560 module is a controller for interconnecting processors and intelligent controllers using the ARCNET LAN. Integrated into the card is a 2K, dual–ported RAM buffer allowing zero wait state operation in a PC system. The 5560 support both coax and twisted interconnections. And is compatible with all standard ARCNET software.
