Rugged,  industrial x86 processor with embedded PC compatibility

Hardware:
The PC–500 integrates PC architecture with industrial I/O, enhanced graphics, and advanced power management in a highly integrated, reliable, small form factor (5.75 in. x 8.00 in.).

Operating System:
Standard PC architecture supported by compatible operating systems. SBC comes pre-loaded with Datalight ROMDOS. The industrial I/O is supported with INT 17 calls. Documentation includes example programs.

Expandable:
The PC–500 has Ethernet, five serial ports, 24 lines of digital I/O, and flat panel support.

The I/O can be expanded through the PC/104 interface.

Rugged:
The CPU provides enough computing power for virtually any embedded application, while operating in extreme temperatures (–40° to 70° C operating range) and under heavy shock (40g) and vibration (5g). –300 ft. to 20,000 ft. altitude.

Reliable:
The PC–500 is designed for a broad range of applications including industrial control, mobile, communications, and portable applications requiring embedded PC compatibility.
